Why another survey for cryin' out loud?
We'll let Katie take it from here...it's her survey: Well...because we can, that's why, and because Katie Herder (me) is sick and tired of people telling her she looks "just like that girl on Third Rock from the Sun!"
How did this start?
It all began when the show (the sitcom, Third Rock From the Sun) premeired. A friend of mine at the time noted that I looked a lot like the girl who played Sally on the show. I didn't pay much attention to it. Over the next few seasons, however, as the show gained popularity, the comments became more and more frequent--people I didn't even know were approaching me and asking me if I was "that girl on that show with those aliens..." Of course, "that girl" is Kristen Johnston.
My senior year of high school, my guidance counselor pulled me out of class to give me a clipping of Kristen Johnston at the Emmys. She then proceded to call me Kristen for the remainder of the year. Was I supposed to RESPOND to that???
So, when the whole Todd Alan Johnson/John Travolta controversy (Does Todd Alan Johnson Look Like John Travolta? YOU be the Judge!) swept the nation (so to speak), I started to feel a little sorry for poor TAJ, and decided to share in his pain by creating my OWN celebrity look-alike page...with a LOT of help from Lindsay...
What are the rules?
Look, we're merely trying to find out, ONCE AND FOR ALL, whether or not I (Katie) look like Kristen Johnston. We aren't trying to crush my entire ego here. THEREFORE, comments like, "Hey, that Kristen chick is a fox and Katie looks like recycled cat food," will not be appreciated nor will they be posted. Says me.
